On Tuesday, Coach Lee and his squad traveled to Bishop Lynch for their final district contest of the season. Having already defeated the Friars at home, a second win would secure the TAPPS 2-6A District Championship and an undefeated district record. The Cardinals delivered—taking care of business on the road and officially locking up the district title.

In a testament to their consistency and toughness, JPII didn't just win district games—they dominated. In fact, the Cardinals defeated every district opponent by a larger margin on the road than they did at home, proving they were built to win anywhere.

The team was led offensively by Ja'Meir Hayfort, who averaged 25 points per game in district play, while Landry Ferguson added 21 points per game.
