Sports Performance


The Sports Performance program at John Paul II High School is designed to help our athletes reach their maximum potential. 

This will be done by applying a wide variety of scientifically proven methods of training our athletes. Our main objective is to help develop overall athletic ability that will then lead to improved performance in any sport. In addition, we aim to help reduce the risk of injury and speed up recovery for those that are injured. 

Athletes will spend time and energy developing their muscular strength, muscular endurance, power, linear speed, speed endurance, agility, quickness, flexibility, coordination, core strength in addition, to developing mental toughness and championship character. Nutrition and recovery techniques for optimal performance are also included in this program.
