CARROLLTON: The Boys Basketball program went on the road yesterday to Carrollton Ranchview for Freshman, JV, and Varsity matchups with the Wolves. All three Cardinal teams came out on top to sweep Ranchview. The Freshman team won 37-29 and JV won 51-32, while the Varsity Boys team won big, 81-32. Coach Anderson said about the win, "Great all around team win. Always good to get your first win on the road. Defense was the key as our press sparked us in the first half and then we played great man D in the second while holding them to 32 points for the game." Nate Dominick (22 points, 9 reb) lead the charge on both ends of the court, while
Jaylon Tyson (14 points) brought a spark of the bench.
Jalen Tot (12 points) played great in his first game of the season after having to miss the opener due to illness. The Cardinals now have a day off before the Freshman and JV teams will head north on Thursday for a weekend tournament at Denton Guyer, while the Varsity team looks ahead to a tough road test as they travel to St. Marks School of Texas on Friday.
