This weekend, our Lady Cardinals competed in the Hwy 5 Tournament at Van Alstyne. This young group embraced the challenge of a prestigious preseason event and used it as valuable preparation for the tough season ahead.

The Cards went 3–1 on the weekend, earning wins over Frisco, Carrollton Ranchview, and Liberty Christian. They matched up with Anna in the championship game and, after a hard-fought battle, fell to the Coyotes 51–57.

Seniors and captains Stella Ihde and Jaclyn Silva earned All-Tournament honors for their outstanding performances. Coach Griffin is encouraged by the growth the team has already shown this preseason.
