John Griffin selected to coach with Steph Curry's Underrated Tour

Lady Cardinals' Head Coach to evaluate select campers in elite DFW clinic

UNDERRATEDTOUR.COM: "THE UNDERRATED TOUR WILL MAKE 4 REGIONAL STOPS IN U.S. CITIES BEFORE CULMINATING IN THE UNDERRATED CHAMPIONSHIP, TAKING PLACE IN THE BAY AREA. EACH REGIONAL STOP WILL PROVIDE 75 BOYS AND 75 GIRLS THE CHANCE TO LEARN AND BREAK THROUGH THE NOISE. 8 BOYS AND 8 GIRLS WILL BE HANDPICKED FROM EACH REGION AND FLOWN TO THE BAY AREA CHAMPIONSHIP STOP COURTESY OF UNITED AIRLINES. THE FINAL 64 PARTICIPANTS WILL COMPETE FOR 2 (1 BOY, 1 GIRL) COVETED SPOTS IN STEPHEN CURRY'S UNDER ARMOUR SELECT CAMP AND REGIONAL TEAMS WILL SEEK TO BE CROWNED AMERICA'S MOST UNDERRATED REGION."

John Paul II Girls Basketball Head Coach John Griffin was selected to serve as a camp coach for the DFW Regional stop of Steph Curry's Underrated Tour.  As a coach, Griffin was responsible for evaluating and helping to select 16 of the best campers from 150 athletes to attend the Underrated Championship later this year in San Francisco. 

"The talent is incredible and we know we're going to present the kids with an opportunity of a lifetime", said Griffin.  "I'm a big fan of Steph's and love what he's doing with the Underrated Tour - giving kids that may have been overlooked a chance to be seen."

John Paul II also had two athletes invited to the camp, as sophomore Tatiana Arevalo and junior Cameron Brown participated in the two day competition.  Congratulations to Coach Griffin, Tatiana, and Cameron on an incredible opportunity with one of the NBA's greatest!
