WHITE SETTLEMENT: On Friday, December 18th, the JPII Lady Cardinals traveled far west to face Brewer HS.  It was a game of runs as the Lady Bears jumped out to a 12-0 lead when sophomore Alana Goosby took matters in her own hand and reeled off 10 straight points to catapult the Lady Cards to a 15-12 first quarter lead.  The game went back and forth from there when the JPII lead was cut to four but then the Lady Cardinals defense stepped it up only allowing four points in the 4th Quarter en route to a 42-29 victory.  

Sophomore Sydney Wade lead the team with 16, followed by Goosby's 15.  The Lady Cards head into the Christmas break with a 9-2 overall record and will resume play on December 30th at Howe High School at 1:30pm.
