The fall athletes and coaches reported to preseason practices on August 5^th and have already enjoyed success on the court and course! Volleyball competed in the TAPPS Spike Down Tournament and finished with an impressive 9-0 record and were crowned Champions! Senior Greer Chambless and Junior Aubrey Easterwood earned All-Tournament honors. The Cardinals are currently 16-2 and will compete in the Prince of Peace North Texas Invitational this weekend.
 
The cross country team ran in the Waxahachie meet where Abby Spiars broke her own school record in the 5K by running 18:42. Blair Neumayer, Alex Mendoza, and Alex Headley also posted personal bests in the first two races of the season. The Cardinals next race will be on September 7^th at Lynn Creek Park.
