Cardinal Volleyball Makes History!

This season has been one for the books for the Cardinals! They had their tough preseason which included a first ever trip to Las Vegas where they participated in the prestigious Durango Classic. They played against the top programs in the nation and finished with an impressive 4-3 record. This helped launch them into district play which would prove to be a battle each match. The Cards persevered and after only dropping matches to Prestonwood who is considered the best in the country, they earned the title of TAPPS 6-2A District Runner-Up! Playoffs started with a match-up against TCA and after a 3-0 victory, they only had one match between them and the state tournament! Bishop Lynch upset Liberty Christian which allowed the Cardinals to host a regional final for the first time in program history. The Birdcage was packed and the Cards swept the Friars in 3 earning their 40th win on the season and a trip to the TAPPS State Tournament for the first time ever!! They will travel to Waco on Friday the 15th and face Prestonwood at 4pm. Good luck Cardinals!
