FRISCO:  The Varsity Hockey Team traveled to the Frisco StarCenter last night in a matchup with highly touted Prosper High School.  The Cardinals wound up on the wrong side of a lopsided loss, dropping to the Eagles 0-9.  Coach Clarke said about the match, "Rough game for the boys tonight.  Played highly ranked Prosper and we held with them in the first period playing well on both sides of the puck.  We were down 0-1 after the first period.  Second period, Prosper started capitalizing on their chances.  JPll had some opportunities to bang home a few but their goalie s came up with some big saves.  Prosper was up 5-0 after the second period.  Third period, Prosper pulled away and never looked back."  The Cardinals now have a few weeks off before returning to action in February against Grapevine/Colleyville.
