About the Program

The Varsity Baseball Team is led by Head Coach Roberto Gallegos and Assistant Coaches Michael Schmeck, David Lovell and Carson Collins. The Baseball Program competes in TAPPS Division 1 District 2 with a total of 51 student-athletes. We will host tournament games on Thursday and Friday through the month of February and begin district games that are held on Tuesday and Friday nights for the remainder of the season. The program believes in a full year cycle based on heavy strength and conditioning during the Fall semester, In-season games and practices during the Spring semester, meeting nearly everyday. During the season, we will have 2 teams competing a Varsity and JV. As a Freshman, we do not make cuts, allowing everyone a year to develop under our coaching. The game is about having fun so we like to include that in what we do on a daily basis.
