This weekend, the John Paul II Cardinals Track & Field team traveled to compete in the Greenhill Relays in Addison — and what a meet it was!

Not one.
Not two.
But THREE Cardinals etched their names into the record books!

Record-Breaking Performances

•  Jett Jackson shattered the school record in the 110m Hurdles, blazing to a 13.94 and taking 1st place in the event.

•  Abby Spiars dominated the 1600m, finishing 1st with a new school record time of 5:11.91.

•  Alex Mendoza set a new school best in the 3200m, running 10:09.83 and finishing 4th overall.

It's only the beginning of the season, and these performances set the tone for what's ahead. We can't wait to see what the rest of the spring holds for this group!
