At John Paul II High School, we challenge our student-athletes to relentlessly pursue growth. Today, we celebrate a milestone in that growth.
We are proud to announce that the John Paul II High School Boys Lacrosse program will officially be moving up to compete in Class C.
This achievement was earned through grit, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Over the last two seasons in Class D, the team forged an impressive 22-10 record (10-3 in district play), proving they were ready for a greater challenge. This move isn't just a change in classification; it's a testament to the character and skill our players and coaches have built.
"I couldn't be prouder of these young men and our entire coaching staff," says George Teague, John Paul II High School Athletic Director. "They've not only performed on the field, but they've also built a championship-level culture. Moving to Class C allows us to continue challenging them to be their best as we pursue our ultimate goal of competing at Class A, the highest level in Texas."
We are excited for the journey ahead and the opportunity to elevate the John Paul II High School Boys Lacrosse experience for our entire community.
