John Paul II High School

Coach Grant was a 3 time All American at Pepperdine University from 2004-2008. He was also a member of the US Youth and Junior National Teams from 2006-2008. After graduating from Pepperdine, he moved to France to play water polo professionally for Dauphins FC Sete in Sete, France

Upon his return he coached for Foothill Water Polo Club (Southern California) from 2009-2015 covering ages 10-18. His teams consistently ranked in the top 15 in the National Junior Olympics. He served as Head Coach at Damien High School (La Verne, Ca.) from 2010-2015, where he won district titles every year. In 2011, they were the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Runner-ups. After leaving California, he was the Head Coach and Program Director of Mesa Water Polo Club (Mesa, Az.) from 2015-2017, the only age group water polo team in the state of Arizona, where they competed in several national tournaments and finished in the top 40 in the country. 

Since 2017, he has been the Head Coach at John Paul II High School in Plano, for both the swimming and water polo teams. The boys’ swim team has finished in the top 5 in TAPPS State Championships every year and the girls have finished in the top 10 each year. He is also currently serving as the Boys 16 & Under Coach for Pegasus Water Polo Academy in Dallas.
