The Cardinal Volleyball program headed west to San Diego to compete in the prestigious SoCal Invitational, where the Cards showcased their competitive spirit against top-level competition on a national stage! The Cardinals battled throughout the tournament, with their only two losses coming against the eventual first- and second-place finishers.

The Cards had several standout performances throughout the weekend:

• Chloe Gerlach led the offense with 53 kills.
• Ashley Keith anchored the defense with 55 digs.
• Lucy Schwabauer dished out 99 assists.
• Cate Gorli provided another offensive threat, hitting an impressive .255 for the tournament.

Beyond the competition, the team made the most of its time in California! From enjoying the beaches of La Jolla to sharing dinner as the sun set over Del Mar and making memories together in Pacific Beach, the trip provided plenty of opportunities for team bonding both on and off the court.

It was a successful weekend filled with great volleyball, valuable experience, and unforgettable memories. Coach Lee is incredibly proud of the way this young Cardinal squad competed, represented JPII, and continued to grow together!
