DALLAS: The Varsity Boys Basketball Team traveled to Bishop Dunne on Friday for their final district matchup with the Falcons. The Cardinals stretched a 13-point lead after the first quarter into a 21 point lead at halftime. The Falcons wouldn't go quietly and made things interesting down the stretch, but ultimately could not finish the comeback as the Cardinals prevailed, 71-59. Nathan Dominick (17 points), and junior
Donavon Johnson (14 points). With the win, the Cardinals improve to 26-9 overall, sporting a 6-2 district record, good for 2nd in TAPPS 6A - District 2. The Cardinals will be the two-seed in the north bracket and earn a first round matchup with TAPPS 6A-D1 third place team TCA. The Cardinals and Trojans will square off on Friday, February 22nd at 2:30pm in Ft. Worth at Brewer High School.
