PLANO: The Varsity Boys Basketball team hosted Bishop Dunne last night in their first of two district matchups. The second half saw more of the same, as the Cardinals outscored the Falcons 40-14 in the final two quarters. Coach Anderson was proud of his team's performance saying, "Great team win filled with energy on both ends of the court. Offensively we attacked effectively by getting the ball in the paint and putting pressure on their defense resulting in 83 points. Defensively we put did a great job of keeping them out of the paint, made them take contested shots and limited their offensive rebounds. Easily our best game so far in district. We hope to continue the great play moving forward to Friday night vs BL." Standout performances include junior guard
Jalen Tot (17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals), sophomore forward
Jaylon Tyson (16 points, 4 rebounds), junior forward
