DALLAS: The Boys Varsity Basketball Team opened district play on the road tonight against TAPPS 6A District rival Bishop Lynch. The Cardinals and Friars traded shots the whole way, with BL ultimately coming out on top 60-54. Coach Anderson spoke proudly of his team after the game saying, "The game was everything you would expect from a rivalry game. Both team played very well as the game continually went back and forth. BL executed a little better than us in the 4th quarter, which allowed them to take the lead and ultimately win the game. I am super proud of how hard our guys played, how well they executed the game plan and how physical we played throughout the game." Standout out players were
Nathan Dominick and
Jerand Bradley. The Cardinals now look ahead to their district home opener on Friday against PCA.
